PRESIDENTS REPORT. August 2003 Well
by the time you read this our 50th anniversary party will be a great
memory with pleanty of storys. I would personally like to thank Alan
Dures for the great effort he has put into the organizing off our night,
job well done Al, you might have to become the entertainments manager
of our club. It was good to see so many Corvettes turn out to Yalla
last month congratulations go to Charlies great 63 vette. I am thinking
of putting together a trip to Tasmania next year as the new car ferry
will be leaving from Sydney as of January it will be an option to take
your vette or family car if you are interested get back to me or have
any ideas. There is pleanty happening in August so get the vettes out.
Don't forget to get your entry in before the end of August for Fox studios
on the the 21st of September to be guaranteed of your show bag. Our
club has been invited to put a display of 30 corvettes at the motor
show we will display them on the old pymont bridge on the 26/10/03 set
up by 8.30am? leave by 4pm the first 30 get the spots so call me after
hours only on 42681455. I would like to thank George Gilby from the
down under club for making us feel so welcome read the report from the
