President’s Report August 2007

Hi everyone! I'll keep this month's report reasonably short…

We've had some good runs in the last month as I hope those of you who attended can attest… I have to say I've particularly enjoyed the last two runs I've been on, Christmas in July and Geoff Eaton's Tour of ANSTO and subsequent lunch at The Hog's Breath in Cronulla. If you check elsewhere in this magazine you'll see that there are a few more interesting runs this coming month which should be good (as is usually the case).

You should all be aware that this months newsletter contains nomination forms for this years upcoming AGM. Rather than dismissing thinking about this form I ask that you all give the matter of your club officers some consideration. If you are interested in a position, please feel free to put your hand up. In the past I have become aware that many people are not prepared to run when an incumbent is re-running, everyone has a right to run and if you feel there is something to do please put your hand up to be counted so the membership can decide as they should. If you are interested in a position and have any questions about what it entails, please do not hesitate to ask.

If you nominate someone or are to be nominated please be sure to read the details on the form. The requirements on the form MUST be adhered to or the nomination will not be able to be counted. If you have any questions or are unsure about anything please ask!

I’ll leave it at that for this month’s report, hope to see you at a run in the future.

Until next month keep the shiny side up.

Andrew
