President’s Report December 2007

It's hard to believe but 2007 is about to pass us by and we are on the verge of a new year. In hindsight I feel as though it has been a good year. As I often say, if you feel differently, or have any ideas as to how we might be able to make things more enjoyable - let myself or someone else on the committee know - we're here to work for you.

As I write this we are looking back on our Christmas Party for 2007, which thanks to the efforts of Jenny and everyone else who helped was another success. I hope those of you who went enjoyed yourselves.

For those who are new to the club, January is typically a quiet month for us, with no meeting and one 'official' club run (All American Day at Castle Towers) we have a few runs in December to see out the year, although those of you who are on the forum may notice impromptu runs that are organised from time to time there.

This month will see two regional BBQ's on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (18/12/07) normally this month is the Doonside month for the BBQ's although for this month only there will also be another BBQ at Dolls Point on the same night so people can choose which BBQ they prefer to go to based on which location is easier to get to for a final get together before Christmas).

Lastly, I would like to wish you all a very happy, safe and enjoyable Christmas and New Year period. Please all be careful on the roads and I hope to see you all refreshed next year for what I hope will be another good year.

All the best

Andrew
