Our Club’s Tuesday night BBQ at the western venue I hear was a very successful night with over 16 Vettes in
attendance thanks to Murray and Graeme Booth. It was a very poor attendance at the Dolls Point BBQ, with myself,
Geoff Eaton and his wife Sue. We all need to support these members who put so much time and effort into these
events. Once again thanks Geoff and Sue for your efforts.
We had a very informative day at Richard Stones place for the Fiberglass repair day. I would like to thank Richard and his wife Yvonne for their hospitality.
On behalf of NSW Corvettes, I had the pleasure of sending a $500 cheque to one of our charities, ‘Life without Barriers” this will go towards their annual Christmas Party. We are also in the process of forwarding another cheque
for $500 to our 2nd charity “Learning Links”.
The proceeds from our annual car shows Bella Vista and Darling Harbour has made this possible and I look forward on
behalf of this club in supporting them both in the coming year. Thanks should go out to all of the members who have
supported our club car shows.
Just a reminder that our Christmas Party on the 7th December at Prospect Reservoir. Ring Nick our Events Coordinator on 0411 126 383 if you are coming and haven’t bought your tickets.
Don’t forget that we don’t have a club meeting in January, our first will be in February 2009. Also in January the all
American Day at Castle Hill is on again, as well as the 39 Chev Club Australia Day show on Australia Day. See our
events calendar.
A reminder for all to get their Bella Vista Entries in early and shirt orders so you won’t be disappointed.
The National Corvette Convention in Canberra April 2009. Get your entries in and support the Canberra club.
I would also like to thank everyone for all of their support over the last 2 months which has been very hectic. Most of all, I would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas, a very happy and safe New Year.
Look forward to seeing you all in 2009.
