President’s Report December 2009

This will be my last report for 2009.What a busy and eventful year we have had, with car shows club runs and weekends away.
Thanks to everyone for their participation as well as enthusiasm.
One of the last events for this year was our Xmas party held at Vicarys winery,which was well attended and enjoyed by all.
Some photos will be in club magazine as well as on the clubs forum.

Next year promises to be as busy ,with our event s co-ordinators as well as the committee organizing for next years events.

So I am looking forward to the Xmas and New Year break.

As this goes to print the club will have had a display at the V8's supercars @ homebush.
The display will be part of the Armor All Auto Show.
Photos will be on club forum.

Thanks to all of the members who made a commitment to this event ,as there was a great deal of time and effort involved to have their cars at this display, representing your club.

Bella Vista entries are in this months magazine, so please return them ASAP so we can organize for this major car show.

We will be inviting QLD< VIC< Canberra clubs to this event which promises to be a major event for our club.
As you all know NSW Corvettes will be holding the National Corvette Convention in 2012.

In April 2010, we will be calling for members who are interested in being involved in the organizing of this event. { This will be a separate Convention committee} This will require a commitment from you for 2 years.So give it some thought over the break and get back to us next year.

On behalf of myself and the committee, I wish all of you a Merry Xmas and a safe and happy new year.

Our next club meeting will be in February 9th 2010.
