PRESIDENTS REPORT.

February 2006

I hope you all had a great festive season & revved up for the coming year in the club we have a host of events lined up for all the members.

The most important is the upcoming convention our club is hosting at Penrith Panthers club, there is a full run down on the events in this months magazine so look for it & read it.

Don't forget if you haven't put your entry form in for the convention nows the time to do it so you won't miss out on all the fun.

As for the carry on's of the last three meetings last year I think it best if any member has a complaint or a problem with the way the club is being run that they phone a committee member & tell them they will be at the committee meeting which starts at 6pm sharp if for any reason your problem is not solved there we will raise it in general business. The reason I say this, is that it disrupts what is suppose to be a get together of club members that you don't see through the month & talk about our cars & runs that we have been on.

Last year this committee was voted into the running of the club we all listen to what members suggest on runs & other ideas to the improvement of our club none of us get PAID to do this job in fact it costs us money we all have jobs or a business to run we also have famillies that require our full time & effort, so if any of you think you can do a better job than anyone on the committee please nominate yourself at the next AGM because all positions become VACANT. Its funny you only ever see the same hands getting raised to do all the work so please don't tell me you haven't got the time, if you were that passionate about your club you would make the time like the committee & some members do.

I think there are some members that have forgot why they joined this great club it was to meet people with the same interests & have FUN with our cars.So lets move on & have fun because there is so much happening over the next 3 months in the club.

At our March meeting we will have a guest speaker from Mothers Polishers talking about there products, this was organised by Mr Michael Cokinas from Auto One.
