PRESIDENTS REPORT.

January 2006

I hope everyone had a safe Christmas & New year.

I must admit I feel rested with the break from club meetings & general business that occurrs throughtout the year as our last 3 meetings were the worst I have ever been to, I felt sorry for the committee copping the flack that was dished up to them & myself from some members of our club.

In future I think the best way to get around these disruptions is to have them discussed at a committee meeting so as not too disrupt the general meetings as members don't want to sit there & listen to someone woffle on about things they are not interested in. As I think most of us want to come along to find out whats going on & to see mates that you don't see throughout the month & generally have a good time not put up with wingers.

So infuture if you have a complaint please phone a committee member & tell them you would like to come to a committee meeting & discuss your issue before it goes to a general meeting & we will see if the issue can be resolved beforehand so as not to disrupt the meeting.

I would like to thank all the members that have phoned me over the last few months offering support to myself & the committee for the work that we do in running this great club.
