President’s Report July 2009

Hi Everyone,
It has been yet another busy month.
I expect that you all have received your membership renewals for 2009-2010.
Thank you to all that have re-newed so promptly.
Hawkesbury blokes Day has come and gone, it was a successful day, a good show of corvettes 27, which is a good reflection on our club.

We received a letter from the organizers, thanking our club for our participation.
The Brass Monkey Run to the Megalong Valley Tea House, regardless of the weather, we had 38 cars attend.
20 Mustangs
13 Corvettes
5 shopping trolleys

It was a good gathering of the two respective clubs, Mustang and Corvettes. The ones that didn't show missed a great day. We will do this run again with the Mustang Club, better weather next time.

A big thanks to the Megalong Valley Teahouse, they coped extremely well with the influx of over 70 people. The food was great.

CMC- Eastern Creek 23 August, tickets are available. This is always a good club display day. See the club Secretary for your ticket. As we go to print there are 10 tickets left.

By the time you read this report, the club will have moved to the new venue at Briars @ greenlees sporting club. I shall report next month. Would appreciate constructive feedback.

AGM -October meeting is fast approaching, ALL POSITIONS are up for nomination, and so if you would like to help contribute to the running of the club, this is a good opportunity to step forward.

Darling Harbour 1st November- entry forms will be available from August. We will keep you informed. This is a fantastic Venue to showcase your corvette and your club.
As I always say
