To all the members who attended, thank you for making the day as good as it was. Thanks also to the six members who volunteered a good part of their day to the hard task of judging cars, your help was of great assistance. Everyone I spoke to on the day was enthusiastic and had put a lot of work into their car and it was a compliment to the club. Morris thankfully brought his drag car again but unfortunately due to engine issues was unable to do the ceremonial firing of the engine at 12 o'clock. It was still great to have such an extreme Corvette on display. To all the committee members (everybody did something to help on the day) who volunteered their time both on and before the day to contribute their part to making the day what it was, thank you too. Thanks also to Ray Smith for stepping up to help with the parking of cars on the day also. If you have any feedback on how these days could be improved on please let myself or one of the committee members know. Constructive feedback is always wanted.
In other news, don't forget that this month we have the Hawkesbury Bloke's Day, the Western Breakfast Run, at the Planet Café Riverstone, as well as the Breakfast Run to Picton.
For those of you at the next meeting, Malcolm Cuming has an idea for a cool display for some of our vehicle displays he will be showing at the next meeting. Thanks Malcom for acting on your enthusiasm and contributing.
Next up on our major event calendar is our Darling harbour Show and Shine followed by our Corvette Challenge weekend the first weekend in November.
Until then, if you have any run ideas or feedback on how we can improve things for you as a member, let us know.
Enjoy
Andrew
