President’s Report June 2009
Hi Everyone,
The club has had a quieter month than usual, which is not such a bad thing sometimes.
The colder weather is upon us, a good time of the year to get the vette out.
As you can see by our events calendar there is plenty of events to enjoy.
John our Librarian has had a very successful turnout at his church St. Paul's motor show.

Thanks to Bill for organizing the recent run to Little Hartley and then onto the small arms factory at Lithgow. I only made it to the morning tea as I needed to be back at home early.
Our Annual Brass Monkey run is on again; this time I have extended an invitation to the Mustang Club to join us. I went along to their last meeting and was made welcome; I explained the finer points of the run-i.e. Roofs down, windows down, heaters off etc.Beanies and scarves permitted.
I have had a good response from the mustang owners, so now is the time to show that we are a friendly and sociable club. Hope to see a good show of vettes.
Check out the events calendar as there is too many to mention.
By now you should have received your membership renewals, so don't forget to get them back by 30th June 09.
A reminder to members that if your car is on Historic Registration you must be a financial member of the club or your car will be unregistered and affects your 3rd party insurance.
As from July 7th 09, our monthly club meeting will be held at "Briars at Greenlees" sport club, Concord. See magazine for details.
The cost to the club will be nil per month, a saving of $800 P.A.
The club is very keen to have our patronage. An excellent Bistro menu available, reasonable priced.
As I always Say, "Do it in a Vette"
Bob Lynn.
