PRESIDENTS REPORT. June 2003 Well I have just got home from our clubs Show & Shine what a great day considering the weather we had over 48 cars turn up, Homemaker collection centre really went out of their way for us, they sponsored the whole day. To all the members that did brave the weather a great effort, it just goes to show what a great club we have. To all the trophy winners congratulations, to all the helpers & judges another great effort it is with your help that makes a day like this run so smooth. I think the Elvis was a great touch & Pinky the DJ was fantastic. As you know our anniversary dinner is getting closer we really need to know who is going so can you please phone Alan Dures his # is in the magazine under events co-ordinator. Don't forget that Bill Cox has put on a great run this month to Mittagong check the magazine for details I can tell you that when Bill puts a run on they are great he really puts a lot of thought in to them so get in touch with him his # is in the magazine under western rep. I went into my friends paint shop the other day to see Con working on 4 corvettes at once he gets them in & out in know time flat your car doesn't sit there for months. Also if you have any good storys get them over to John our editor & have them put into the magazine. I have just had a meeting regarding the All American super cruise that is being held on the 1st & 2nd of November this is going to be fantastic we will all gather at the olympic site register then commence a cruise up the freeway to the new drag strip that is being built near eastern creek raceway where we will be the first cars to go on the strip then we will proceed onto Rooty hill RSL where there will be a display of all the cars, that night there will be a live band for our entertainment. Then
on the Sunday a show & shine & more entertainment the cost will
be $20 for the whole weekend also there is a lot more to put together
