PRESIDENTS REPORT. June 2006 I would like to thank Jenny & Bob for taking on the events position in our club, they have put together an array of runs over the next 6 months that look exciting so I hope all our club members try & get to as many of these runs as possible. Talking of runs the Queensland Downunder Corvette clubs show & shine is on next month normally a group of us go up each year this year we are leaving on friday7th July & coming back on the monday if you haven't been on this trip it is a great weekend as their club always makes us feel so welcome, they will again have a great saturday planned for us & the show & shine will be on the sunday. If you would like to come along please phone me on 0403026867 you will not be dissapointed. Don't forget memberships are due next month. I am in the middle of organising this years Corvettes @ Fox they want to charge us per car this year & I have heard that most of the shops have closed so I am speaking to Darling Harbour about holding the show & shine there instead, I will keep you all informed. It was good to see a write up on Jim Gramms Callaway in the Corvette Enthusiat magazine even Murray Forman got a mention regarding the NCRS in Australia if you would like to subscribe to this great magazine you can phone Dave Clee from Ponti-world @ Oak Flats I think it's about $80 a year the best thing about this magazine is they do a section on each generation of Corvette not just C5's & 6's like a lot of magazines.
