PRESIDENTS REPORT.

What a month we have coming up, first off we have the Shellharbour Burger King ROCK & ROLL night on the 8th of March Sydney guys meet at Caltex servo Heathcote 4pm leave 4.30 pm. Then the next day is the all Cronulla show day were we have the same spot as last year this is a great day out with pleanty of cars to look at.

Next I have been asked to get 25 corvette convertables together to parade the V8 super car drivers around eastern creek in November the first 20 guys are guaranteed a spot with the next 5 being reserve. You will have passes for the day I am hoping to get some extra passes to give away also if you want to put your name down phone me on A/H 42681455.

Don't forget the all chev sunday at fox studios on the 16th march, the 567 club have really worked hard on this day lets have a good roll up of vettes. All of these runs & more should be in your magazine.

Just in the last couple of months I have had some friends that needed work done on there cars the first one was a camaro went to a person that specializes in these to get some engine work done was told 3 weeks maxime 7 weeks later no where near finished another mate wanted his car painted was told 1 month after 2 months got the car back not even started when these cars get booked in they just seem to get pushed to the back of the line all the time because they are not daily drivers. The point that I am getting at is why can't we find work shops that will do our cars in the time it takes to do shopping trolleys, there really is no great difference in camaro's, mustangs or corvettes to work on they are just motor vechicles after all.

Don't forget if you have not sent your application for next months convention please do so as they really need the information to tidy every thing up i really think Garry Sykes gave a great run down on what you are getting for your money after you pay your entrance fee there is not much more to spend for memory I think you only have to pay for drinks on 2 nights. Also the Sydney guys that want to go down in the convoy with the QLD guys we will meet at uncle Leos on the Friday at 11am with a 12 noon departure Andrew felton will be doing the film work on the run down he will give a talk on how he wants the cars. If you haven't purchased your video of last years runs we still have some copys left this is a great video if you have been any where near Andy with a camera you will be on it.

If any one has a run that they would like to do just call our two event cordinators & they will help you put it together as sometimes there are places that you hear about that would be good for a club run.
