PRESIDENTS REPORT.

May 2005

Well there goes a busy month I think we had something on every weekend & the attendance at all the events was fantastic, this is why we have these cars to get them out, drive them & show them off.

We have just had a visitor from the Texas Corvette Association club in San Antonio Texas Noel Osborn, what a wealth of knowledge he has on corvettes he is a judge with the NCRS an ambassador for the National Corvette museum. He was so impressed with our cars that were at the all GM day & the turn out of all the other clubs.

I would like to thank the guys that went to the airport to help me pick Noel & Judy up, Fred, Peter & Sash, without them we would have never made it to the all GM day, he could not believe his eyes when he saw 4 Vettes waiting for him also I would like to thank Graeme for offering to take Noel & Judy into their hotel after the show.

Now I have organized a raffle to raise money for our up coming convention the prize is two return flights to Los Angeles shoulder season the cost is $100 a ticket BUT there is only 100 tickets these are great odds so if you would like a ticket please call me A/H 02 4268 1455 & it will be drawn at our July club meeting which is the first Tuesday of the month.

The next major thing for May is that we are going to have a club photo on the 29th at Penrith Panthers Leagues club it is about 6yrs since we have done this, then we are going to have them blown up to poster size & sell them for $20 each, it is most important that you turn up to support your club, meeting time at the club will be between 8am & 8.30am the photos should take about 1 to 1/2 hours so you will be home early if you have something on. I would like to see every car in our club THERE we will also be sending these photos to all the corvette magazines & a poster to the corvette museum.
