President’s Report May 2010

HI Everyone,
Not much to report on this month.
As you are well aware we have formed a 2012 convention committee and we are well under way with all the organizing and we should be able to report back soon with some details on where the venue for the convention will be held.

The "Brass Monkey Run" will be held in June Sunday 20th. An Invitation will be extended to the Mustang club to join us for a cruise to the southern highlands. Hope to see a good show of vettes.

Congratulations to Gary Nelson and his winning team for taking out the trophy for the interclub go cart challenge against the HSV Car Club.

Warryn Stenning was the winner of the day.

The club is celebrating its 30th year since it was first formed by Maurie Mouyat in 1980.

A celebration lunch will be held at Tonys- La Perouse on Sunday 8th August. Special guests of honour will be our life members including co-founder Maurie Mouyat.

All information will be published in this month's magazine. It would be nice to see a good roll up of members to this special occasion.

A reminder to contact Debra Webster if you would like to attend Xmas in July, held in Berry.

The "Leadfoot Challenge" will be held at Wakefield ,Saturday, November 13th. 2010. Watch this space for more info.
