PRESIDENTS REPORT. November 2005 I would like to thank all the club members for once again voting me in as your President & having the faith in me to run this great club of ours. To all the committee members that have stood down this year I would like to say it has been a pleasure working with you & especially Mr Doug Ford who has been our treasure for five or six years, a job well done mate, just think Doug now you can sit up the back & ask all the tricky questions that you have been asked over the years, also I shouldn't forget Warryn Stenning our last editor a good job in such a hard position mate. To all our new committee members welcome aboard you will find it interesting up front in the engine room. It is great to see our club is getting invited to so many events now especially this years motor show I think our display looked fantastic with over 33 Vettes on display it would have been nice to have some C1's & 2's there, it would have completed the display. I was even thanked by the motor show organizers on a wonderful display I told them I only make the phone calls the members do the rest by turning up & showing their cars off I am going to look at running our Corvettes @ Fox day & moving it to the old Pyrmont bridge I have checked it out & I am just waiting on final costing it may be cheaper than fox. Now onto other matters we are still looking for a Northern rep so if you are interested in the position please give me a call & I will tell you all about it. So don't forget our new editor Alister Heath will be wanting your stories for the magazine so lets make his life easy & get some into him ASAP also if you have photos of your car get them to Alex our new web officer & she will put them into members cars & profiles.
