President’s Report October 2009

Hi everyone,
We have come to the end of another month and year of fun and adventure with our corvettes and fellow members.
It has been a very interesting learning experience for me as President, but very rewarding to see the members of the club participate and enjoy themselves at our events and runs.
Many thanks to all organizers involved.

As I said in my last report, "thanks to all committee members for their support and help in running your club."
Also a thank you to the members for support and patience with our several club moves.

I would like to remind you about our show at Darling Harbour 1st November 09.
Please get your entries in ASAP as this is a great venue to showcase your cars and club.

Big thanks to Bill Cox for another successful run to Bathurst and back to Tarana Pub for lunch. It was good to see Scott in his V-6 powered C3.

I also, would like to thank Murray and Graham for our first BBQ night which again was a success with a good attendance.
The Lead foot Challenge is fast approaching, so if you want to give your Vette a run on the track, contact the organizers. (See club Magazine for details or the club website.)

By the time you read this report our AGM will be over, so I will congratulate the incoming committee and wish them every success in the coming year.

I would like to make a special thanks to our club secretary Jenny for all her hard work and dedication to this position, as it has not been plain sailing all the time, especially at the start of the year.

Once again thanks to all for your support and help over the past year and hope to have your continued support if elected again, as I will be putting my hand up for this position for another year.
