President’s Report October 2010

Hi everyone,
Well another year has passed a very interesting and rewarding year of events such as car shows [Bella Vista} breakfast runs, BBQ’S and club runs and especially the clubs 30th Anniversary luncheon. It was great to see so many members out together on one day.

Thank you to all members for their participation in all of these events.

I want to thank Jenny, Brian and Graeme for all of their efforts in helping keep the club running so successfully over the past year.

Thanks to the committee also for their help throughout the past year, especially to Debby for organizing the club raffles.

I would like to welcome the new committee and wish them all the best for the coming year.

As I mentioned in my previous report, both Jenny and myself will be remaining on the 2012 convention committee as Chairman and committee secretary. I will be reporting to the members on the convention committee’s progress throughout the next 18months.

Finally, a reminder to all, don’t forget to put your entries in for the National Corvette Convention which will be held in Melbourne 2011 over the Easter Weekend. If you didn’t receive the entry form in your last newsletter, contact the committee or log onto our website for all details.

As a club and fellow corvette owners we need to support these National Events.

As I always say, Do it in a Vette.
