President’s Report September 2009

Hi everyone,
Well we are just about another year over.
We have had a very busy and eventful year with club runs, BBQ'S and car shows etc.
Just a reminder to any member who is interested in the running and organizing of your club that the AGM is coming up in October. This will be your opportunity to put your hand up and nominate yourself for a position as ALL positions will be vacant at the AGM.

If not, just come along to support the members you would like to see running your club.
By the time you read this report the club will have made another move for our club meetings.
I must apologize for any inconvenience this has had on you, but this needs to be right for our members.
This month was busy, starting off with the Pistol shooting at Tuggerah Lakes, thanks to Peter Kelly for organizing this event.
I believe all the girls and guys had a great day with some wayward shots happening.
Next run was the monthly club run to the Illawarra Fly. What a beautiful day to walk out over the tree tops and look over the Illawarra area and then stroll back to have a nice relaxed lunch and plenty of talk amongst everybody. Thanks to Geoff and Sue Eaton for organizing the day.
Shannon's C.M.C. Day was another very successful event, with over 2,000 cars in attendance. It was a pity that our lap parade was on at 3.30pm. Only six of us were left and I don't think the pace car got out of 1st gear. {Very slow}
Thanks to all that attended.
A big reminder to all, get your entries for our annual club show at Darling Harbour on Prymont Bridge. If you require a shirt commemorating the day we need your order with size and money ASAP so Jenny can order the shirts in time for this event.
We have quite a number of our members attending the Macquarie Muscle Weekend organized by Michael McLean in Port Macquarie. If you are attending and would like to travel with your fellow members give me a call so we can arrange/organize a time and place to meet up and travel together.
Don't forget to keep your events calendar handy so you can keep up with what's happening.
Last but not least, I would like to thank all committee members for their support and contribution to the successful running of this club for the past year.
