I have had a call from the presidents of the Canberra & QLD corvette clubs first off Garry Sykes is looking for about 25 vettes to take the drivers on there parade lap for the Bathurst 1000 for the weekend of the 12 th & 13th of October the cost for the sunday is $50 which includes pitt & paddock passes if you have never driven around Mt panorama this is a great chance & you won't be booked for speeding which will be something different going down conrod straight so you can call either Garry Sykes on 0418624248 or me on 0403026867. There is a lot of us going early on the sunday morning so if you want to tag along please give me a call & I will give you all the arrangements.

Next Brad Strummer is looking for more people from our club for the indy weekend of the 24th & 25th October the cost is $250 for the weekend where you will be taking the drivers around the track on the Saturday & Sunday you will also have great seats to watch the races you can contact Brad on 0414730833 both these will be fantastic so try & make an effort & get to both or just one to show of the Corvettes.

Don't forget that October is our AGM where all committee positions become vacant if you are interested in the way your club runs & you think you have got something to offer please come along & put your name down for a position or just on the committee & have some input as new people have fresh ideas. For the committee members that are not running again I would like to thank you for all your help & assistance over the last 12 months as it is a team that makes a great club.

I would like to thank John & Eveon Mafrici for the great effort in the magazine taking over from Bob & Deb was a big challenge & they have shone through also Anestis for his work on the web site & he tells me the E-MAG will be back on the forum soon. I know we will be looking for a North Coast rep as Geoff Featherston is a little short of time, for all your help over the last couple of years thanks mate if anyone up that way is interested you can contact me to put your name forward this is a great position with a lot of satisfaction.

Don't forget it's spring now so get the vettes out & use them as much as possible there will be plenty of runs coming our way.
Regards Garry.
