September 2002 PRESIDENTS REPORT Well another month underway with lots happening. The most important thing is that spring is here that means get the car out & start driving with all the great runs that are lined up we should all have a great time I think the high lite will be Steve Brookes Northern Beaches run, he has put a lot of work into this so please make an effort & go on this it's in your magazine the date is 15/09/02 you can contact him for more info on 0425296392. Don't forget next month the AGM has come around again where all committee positions become vacant so this is your chance to be elected all you have to do is put your name forward for the position you would like to be elected to. This is a great way to have a direct input into the running of our club. I personally would like to thank all the committee members for all the help & assistance that they have given me as President over the last 12 months you really are a great group of people to work with, I would especially like to thank Bob Boes for his tireles effort in producing our great magazine over the last 2 years you will be missed as editor. For all our new members that have joined in the last 12 months it would be great to have some of you on the new committee as new ideas help keep things moving in the right direction so please consider a position it is a lot of fun. To
the new committee coming in I think we have all left you an easy path
to follow in the running of a great club. Next I would like to thank
all the members for giving me a fantastic year as President your input
& ideas have helped mould the club from 1 run a month to nearly
something on every weekend great work please keep it up. |
