Southern Report December 2008

The first summer BBQ night for the south was at Dolls Pt on 18th November. The weather didn’t look promising but turned out to be an OK night. Attendance was disappointing with only President Bob, myself and Sue attending.

I have a new location for December BBQ at Shelley Beach South Cronulla on Tuesday16th
from 6.30pm (UBD reference map 335 A16).

This location has Council BBQ, shelter shed, and lighting located right on the water and is sheltered from southerly winds. Parking is on Ewos St. There are also ocean baths for a swim and play equipment for kids.

Organise the grand kids to meet at the park. Sue and I hope to see some more starters.

By this time the Southern Brekky run will have been on with everyone hopefully having an enjoyable breakfast and optional run to Kiama after for those inclined.
